A special shout out to my friend Steve Hunt, whose late night dumpster diving highlights yet another example of the gross incompetence of our financial institutions -- this time when it comes to protecting our private information.
I am absolutely appalled and you should be too.

Actually dumpster diving usually yields this amount of info at any bank. I had the opportunity to collect a nice amount of material just by grabbing the first things i could from a paper recycling bin in a bank hall - nobody bothered to ask me what I took out, although the security guard was across the hall.
